TuneSat’s clients supply us with their metadata and a hard drive containing the highest
quality files available (.WAV, .AIFF, .MP3) that are needed for the fingerprinting process.
Fingerprinting is a passive technology in that it does not embed an external file into
the master Recording. We merely analyze the music you send us for its’ unique "DNA" and
use that information to create a unique identifier: a fingerprint. Once your music is
uploaded and fingerprinted (we can fingerprint over 100,000 unique song titles overnight),
you will receive a username and password for 24/7 access to your account. When you provide
us with your metadata template, we load the metadata into your account, allowing you to view
the following fields: Artist, Album, Composer, Publishing, Performing Rights Organization (PRO),
Percentage Splits, Song Title and Custom ID. You will then be able to sort and filter this
metadata, allowing you to view and analyze your information with ease. You will then be able
to export this information and view all of the fingerprinted tracks in your account.
TuneSat’s processing centers in the US and Europe continuously monitor, analyze, and
correlate broadcast music detections against its music fingerprint database. Each user account
is continuously updated in realtime with new music detections. For the first time in history,
rights holders are empowered to administer, manage and control their own catalogs.
This accuracy is uncompromised even in the most difficult “dirty audio” noise environments,
such as TV broadcast.
Clients can obtain accurate music usage reports in realtime via the web and address the
widespread issue of missed or underreported music usage, copyright infringement and the
allocation of performance royalty payments. All detection reports can be filtered by
channel, show, episode, date and time, and can be exported into a variety of standard
formats (XLS, TXT, etc.)
